Fun facts about Wrigs:

~Still loves books. I think she would be happy to let me read to her all day long if I could. She has started bringing books to us to read to her. She will just plop herself right in your lap, ready to read :) 

~She has 5 teeth now. The 5th one cut through just last week. Another top one.

~She walks all over the place! And is starting to get pretty quick.

~She tries to say so many words. She says, "Mama", "Dad", "Sister", "Baby", "Uh-oh", "Bye-bye", "Hi", "Melinda", "Dog", "Bath", "Bubbles"...I can't think of anymore right now but she tries to copy most things that we ask her to. 

~She knows where eyes, nose, mouth & belly button are. 

~She loves Morley :)

~She barks like a dog & tries so hard to scrunch up her nose like a bunny. 

~She is very social. She loves people. Especially other kids. She will talk to and smile at anyone and does everywhere we go. 

~She is so good at giving "loves" to everyone. Especially other kids her size who don't usually appreciate it very much :) 

~She loves to dance!

~She is one big ball of energy. She doesn't ever stop going. It wears me out just watching her sometimes. 

~She's a great sleeper. She sleeps 7:30pm - 7:30am pretty consistently. Unless she is sick.

~She's a great eater also. I can't think of anything that she doesn't like. 

~She's a very observant & determined little girl. She watches everything we do & tries to copy us. She stands on her tippy toes to reach the doorknob on our front door. She obviously can't turn it yet but it's not for lack of trying. She also tries to open the baby gate at the top of the stairs. She knows right where the latch is and tries to get it open. She's a very smart little thing.

~She does "water" & "thank you" in sign language.

~She LOVES to be the center of attention. She knows exactly what to do to get people to laugh & does it. 

~She LOVES to talk on the phone. Or anything she thinks is a phone. She'll put it up to her ear and walk around the house chatting away. 

~One of her favorite things to do lately is push the chairs around in the kitchen. She will push it until it runs into something and then go around to the other side & push it back the other way. 

~She makes the silliest faces. 

~She loves babies & dolls. She likes to rock them & give them loves.

~She likes to do the opposite of what we tell her already. If we tell her "No", she will give us this look like, "What are you talking about?" and go right ahead and do it anyway. 

What would we do without our spunky Miss Wrigs?! She makes us laugh all day long with the goofy things she does.

Fun facts about Morley girl:

~She is such a little sweetheart. She cares so much about others already. She gets very worried if someone else is upset or crying.

~She's our sensitive girl. If we tell her "No" or say anything a little too harshly, she gets very hurt feelings.

~She's still a big Mommy's girl. She gets very upset if Jeff is tickling me or even hugging me. 

~She loves to sing. :) And love when we sings songs with her.

~She's not a very good sleeper. She still wakes up in the night sometimes.

~She has started to be a little picky about what she eats. It makes me crazy. 

~She loves all things girl. Anything pink and sparkly. She loves jewelry. When I get her dressed I always say, "Look how pretty you are!" and she puts both her hands on her stomach and looks down at herself with the biggest smile on her face! :)

~She has 6 teeth now. Her 5th cut through last week & the 6th just a few days ago. Both on top. 

~She says quite a few words. "Mama", "Bath", "Ball", "Hello", "Night, night", "Pepper" (my parents dog), "Melinda",  "Hi" (she waves every time she says hi), "Bye-bye". 

~She blows kisses. Cutest thing ever :)

~She loves to play outside. 

~She can point to your eyes, nose, mouth & belly button.

~She points to herself when we ask where Morley is. She can also point to where Mommy is and where Daddy is and sometimes where Sister is.

~She growls like a lion and can tell you what a fish says. She also tries so hard to wiggle her nose like a bunny. 

~She loves to talk on the phone but won't usually say anything if she hears someone on the other end.

~She is just starting to walk more. She has been taking steps for a while but has just decided to walk. And she always claps for herself when she does it and looks around at everyone else expecting cheers :)

~She climbs. Oh boy. I have been dreading this day. She climbs into and out of things. (boxes, her car) And climbs up on the couch and our bed. That's it so far, but I still don't like it. Her favorite thing to do outside is climb the steps but she doesn't know how to go back down them. 

~She LOVES going to the park to swing. And I love taking her there. She thinks the swings are the greatest invention ever & laughs the whole time she's swinging. I love that sound.

~She's a very easy going & happy little girl most of the time. But when she's not happy, she is not happy. She has got quite the temper already. And when she's mad, she tries to bite whoever she is mad at. Where do they learn these things?! It's sometimes hard not to laugh at her little tantrums....

~She's very affectionate. She loves to cuddle & gives the sweetest, most slobbery kisses :) I love it!

~She's very friendly, but it usually takes her a few minutes to warm up to people she doesn't know. 

We sure love our sweet, happy little Morley. That smile of hers lights up the room. 

What an amazing year it has been.
