Grandma Jill Visits

Jeff's mom came to visit last week and we had so much fun with her here.
One day we went up to Salt Lake and had lunch at Kneader's with Jeff's Grandparents.
After lunch we went over to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum and the girls had a blast. They were pretty upset when it was time to leave.

We also went to a BYU Men's Volleyball game one night while Jill was here, which was fun. Except that the girls didn't want to sit still and mostly just wanted to run around the track outside the gym. Busy little things.

We also took her up to check out the new Scheel's store one day.

We don't get to see Jeff's parents often enough so we always have so much fun when they get to come to visit!

Classic Fun Center

One day last week my friend, Coventry, in my ward texted me and asked if we wanted to go to Classic Skating with them the next day. In my head I was thinking, "not a chance!" It didn't sound fun to try and skate with two 1 year olds! I told her we weren't going to go.  But later that day I was with another friend in my ward and she told me they have a whole area, besides the skating rink, with a bunch of bounce houses and things for kids to play on. So we decided to go. And I'm so glad we did! It was a blast! And it only cost the child's age. So it was $2 for both my girls for the whole day. Score!

It surprised me how brave the girls were! They went down all the biggest slides!

They climbed all the way up here and then couldn't figure out how to get back down. I had to yell up to them to guide them to the slide that would get them down.

Traci's Wedding

My cousin, Traci, got married last weekend!
Instead of having a luncheon after the wedding, they had a dinner Friday night.
Her brother, Troy, had gotten his mission call in the mail earlier in the week and they decided to have him open it at the dinner with all the family there.
He was called to serve in the Mexico, Mexico City mission. I'm so excited for him! He'll be such a great missionary!

Traci and Sam got married in the Salt Lake temple and it was a beautiful (and cold!) day for a wedding!

We stayed for the pictures we had to be in and then left because we were all freezing!
While we were driving home, I turned around to see the girls holding hands in the back! Sweetest thing ever!

The girls had the best time dancing at the reception that night.
I'm going to have to put them in a dance class, I think, because they love to dance! Especially my little Morley!

They got a little dizzy from spinning and poor Morley fell on her face and cut her lip.

I always enjoy family weddings. It's so much fun to spend time with all of my family!
We're so happy for Sam & Traci!

New Year's

We drove home from Fresno on New Year's Eve so I was completely exhausted by the time we got home.
We spent the evening at home with the girls. We got take-out Costa Vida, played Hungry Hungry Hippos and watched Tangled.

It was an exciting night! ;)

On New Year's Day we went mini golfing with my family and then to Yogurtland for dessert!
