October Happenings

I don't know why I've been such a blog slacker lately.
Here are some things we did in October.

Jeff turned 29 on the 11th.
We had my family & Nate, Caitlin & Mike over for cake & ice cream to celebrate.
My camera is broken so I took these pictures with Jeff's phone....that's why they suck.

Nate & Caitlin gave him diapers, wipes & a baby monitor! (He asked for all baby stuff for his birthday.)

Maggie holding cute little baby Dalton.

Saxon wanted to see some animals, so Jeff brought up this huge guy.

Saskia didn't want to have anything to do with the big snake, so Jeff brought up a baby one for her to hold.

We went back to the Doctor a week after he put me on bed rest & he upgraded me to "modified bed rest". We had been planning on going to Las Vegas for the PBR finals (well that's what I thought) the next weekend & he gave me permission to go if I took it easy.
I can't find the pictures I took in Vegas anywhere. I seriously don't know what happened to them, so when I find them, I will put them up.
I don't really remember if anyone told me we were going for the PBR or if I just assumed that because that's always why we go to Vegas this time of year...but we didn't go to that. We went to GARTH BROOKS!! I didn't know that's what we were doing until we drove to the Wynn hotel instead of the Thomas & Mack Center.
The show started at 10:30 on Saturday night and we didn't get out of there until around 1:30. I can't even explain to you how great it was! At one point, he brought out Trisha Yearwood & they sang a song together. That was my favorite part!
We didn't do much else while we were there because, well, I wasn't allowed to do much. But it was still totally worth the trip!

Melinda turned 17 on the 25th and we went to dinner at Brick Oven with my family, then went to my parents house for cake.

On Halloween we went over to my parents house to hang out. Jonathan & Julie brought the kids down to go trick-or-treating with Maggie.
Jeff & I walked with them for a little while. Benji was the cutest little puppy dog. At every house we went to he'd say, "I a puppy dog" or "Happy Halloween" with a really high squeaky voice on the "ween" part. Such a funny kid!
