Hee Haws

My aunt, Julie, invited us to go to Hee Haw Farms a few weeks ago. It is definitely something we will be doing again! We had a blast!
I was afraid it was going to be super busy because it was Saturday but it actually wasn't too bad, which was nice.
When we walked in, we saw this cage of bunnies and the girls were already having the time of their lives!

We wanted to get some pictures of them with all the pumpkins but you know how well that goes. We gave them each a pumpkin to hold but Wrigley dropped hers right before we took the picture. We gave it to her again and then Morley dropped hers, of course.

Wrigley and I went for a ride on this animal train.

And while we were on our ride, Morley got to try out this mini "corn" maze.

And then she got to ride the train with Grandma.

The girls went down this big slide with Jeff and then we fed some goats!

Morley & Grandma raced rubber ducks against David & won!

Then they played Ring around the milk can!

The corn box was everyone's favorite, I think! We all played in there for a really long time!

Then we went in the petting zoo. Morley loved the baby pigs!

Wrigley took a few minutes to warm up to the animals but once she did, she loved them.

Next we went on a Trick-or-Treat Hay ride (that I didn't take any pictures of).
And then walked through the corn maze.

Wrigley loved my little cousin, Ryan, and kept wanting to hold his hand :)

We let the girls each pick out a pumpkin that we could buy & take home.

We had so much fun and are excited to go back next year!

Pumpkin Carving

We went over to my parents' house last night to carve pumpkins!
The girls wanted to be right in the middle of everything, as usual. They are the best little helpers ;)

We had 2 little pumpkins for the girls but I want to let them paint them so we tried to find 2 bigger ones to carve but had the hardest time finding any that weren't squishy and spoiled. So we only had one for our family & this is how it turned out.

Halloween Festivities

We had a fun weekend doing some Halloween activities.
I heard about a Pumpkin Parade going on in the Riverwoods so on Friday night we went to check it out. I don't know if there was an actual parade but they had a lot of other fun activities like bounce houses, a petting zoo, carriage rides and more.
I didn't get very many pictures but here's one of Morley in the petting zoo.

The girls loved playing in the bounce house and then wanted to go down this big slide. There was no way I was letting them go up there alone so Jeff took them.

The next day we went up to Gardner Village with Nicco & Nicole.
They had a lot of fun activities and we had fun walking around all the little shops.

The girls weren't so sure about the witches that were everywhere but they loved the balloon flowers they got!

The girls & I also got our faces painted and I was so surprised at how well they sat still while the girl was painting.

While we were in Salt Lake, we decided to stop by & visit Jeff's grandparents. We always love when we get to visit with them & the girls absolutely love going there!

We headed home to go to our ward Halloween Party that night.
I didn't get many pictures of that either but there were families in our ward who had decorated the classrooms all around the church & the kids got to go around Trick-or-treating. The girls caught on real fast when they realized they would get candy at each room!

Aviary

We get into the Tracy Aviary free on Mondays with our Pass of All Passes so last week we decided to go up there with a few friends from our ward.
We have been having the most beautiful fall weather and the day was just perfect!

I had never been to an aviary before and really didn't even know what to expect but it was such a blast! The girls absolutely loved it!

I can't ever get a good picture of two toddlers, so I don't know why we thought we'd get three to look at the camera at the same time. :)

When it was time for lunch, we found some benches to sit on by this play area for the kids. We couldn't get any of the kids to eat much because they all wanted to play in the sand!

While they were playing in the sand, there was a big peacock that came walking over. It walked right passed Wrigley & the look on her face was hilarious. She just froze and looked around like, "Um, isn't this supposed to be in a cage?!"  She seemed pretty confused. It was funny.

We're so lucky to have so many friends in our ward with kids around the same age as the twins.
What a fun day!
