Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Friday, my parents flew to Colorado for the weekend, so we watched the kids again. We even had Marsh this time. (He tends to get frightened when left alone ;) We went to dinner at Gandolfos, got ice cream cones, & watched a movie.

Saturday, we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house with Tyler, Aubrey, Bronson & Tara. So pretty! I absolutely love the feeling of being in the temple. The Spirit there is amazing & I never want to leave.

Afterwards, we went to Chili's for dinner. Yum!

Family Reunion-Day 1

Monday:

We stayed in a hotel in Boise Monday night. My grandma had planned a bbq at the park with a lot of her family & extended family that night. My great grandma was there, along with a lot of my mom's cousins & aunts & uncles. I met a lot of people I had never met before, or hadn't seen since i was a little girl.

Eileen, Jessica, Melinda & I had to leave the bbq a little early to catch the last hour of the Bachelorette. :) (Can't believe she sent Jake home.)

We spent the rest of the night swimming & just hanging out at the hotel.

Temple

I wanted to post these pictures almost 2 months ago, but forgot. They were on my mom's camera & I kept forgetting to get them from her. On May 5th, I got my endowments out at the Mount Timpanogos Temple.

Jeff, my parents, Paula, Julie & Jeff's grandparents were all able to be there with me. It was such an amazing experience.

Welcome to the family Gordon

This is Gordon.

We are still getting to know him, but these are the things I've learned so far.

He is an 8 year old Sulcata Tortoise.

He weighs 9 lbs & is 13 inches long.

Likes:
*exploring our backyard & eating the grass & plants
*chilling in the sun
*trying to eat rocks
*he loves to eat carrots
*more than anything he loves the cement...no matter where I put him in the yard, he finds his way back to the cement
Dislikes:
*being scared-he hisses & super quick slides back into his shell when something scares him
*he absolutely hates being put back in his tank after outside time-he slams his head into the side of the tank trying to escape
