German Babies

Saskia's parents are so sweet & sent these cute little outfits for the twins so "they can be German babies for a day!" :)

Her mom & grandma also made these cute little socks.

We're in the TWO's

Two weeks & 4 days left! So soon, yet I am feeling like it will never be here.
At our OB appointment this week I measured 40 cm and have gained 35 pounds total.
Dr. Cherrington told me to go straight to the hospital if/when I go into labor & he will come do the c-section. He doesn't seem to think I will make it to 38 weeks. Only because he has rarely had twins make it that far. But I'm sure I will because I'm so ready to be done right now! ;)
Our non-stress tests have been going well and we had our last ultrasound this week.
The babies estimated weights are....
Baby A...4lbs 12oz.
Baby B...5lbs 13oz.
No wonder my whole body hurts! I have almost 11 pounds of baby inside me! :)
Even though I'm so uncomfortable and so ready to meet my baby girls, I really am going to miss feeling them inside me. I love feeling them move around and seeing little baby body parts poking out of my stomach. :)

Utah Grizzlies Game

Mike had 2 tickets to the Utah Grizzlies Hockey game on Saturday that he wasn't going to use, so he gave them to Jeff & me.
I had never been to a hockey game before in my life & didn't know any of the rules of the game, so Jeff had to explain it all to me.

We were sitting in the very front row. It was fun to be so close to all the action but I jumped every time the players hit the glass in front of us.

I don't really feel like going places much these days, but it was fun to get out & do something.

33 Weeks

We had an OB appointment yesterday & they tell me that the babies are doing great & I'm doing great & to keep hanging in there.
I'm measuring 36 cm now & gained 3 more pounds.

I'm feeling huge!

But good news....I still have ZERO stretch marks! :)

Today was non-stress test #2.
Last week I was there for over an hour because the babies did not want to cooperate.
Apparently they don't like having the monitors on my stomach & think it's fun to kick them off every few minutes!
Today they were a little more cooperative, but not much.
I think we are going to have our hands full with these two!
Less than 5 weeks to go. I'm counting down the days! :)

Valentine Date

Since we are having twins in a couple weeks & figure they won't be very cheap, we had our Valentine's date at home to save a little money.
My man got me some pretty flowers & I made his favorite dinner.

I'm so beyond excited to start this new chapter in our lives, but lately I've been feeling a little sad that it's not going to be just Jeff & me anymore. (Kinda dumb, I know.) So it was fun to spend some time together tonight, even just hanging out at home. I feel so lucky to have Jeff as my forever Valentine & to be able to spend many many more Valentine's Days together! :)
