06/09/09

Tuesday was our one month anniversary :) I know a month isn't that long, but I can't believe how fast the time went. I got up early Tuesday morning and made Jeff pancakes, bacon, & eggs for breakfast before he had to go to work. After work he brought me home a daisy!

My mom was at girl's camp all week, so Tuesday night we had Maggie & Matthew over to spend the night. Jeff had to work until 8, so we watched the Bachelorette online while we waited for him to get home. When he got home we started a game of Monopoly. Halfway through we decided to go to Brick Oven for a cookie monster. They were out of cookies. Bummer! We got brownie sundaes instead.

We came back, finished our Monopoly game (Jeff won), watched a movie & went to bed.

I guess we wore them out. They slept until 11 am!

Mousey

This was our little mouse pet for one day.

We couldn't save him because we didn't have a mommy to feed him.

He got fed to the snake.

I felt so bad for the little guy.

I cried.

A lot.

1 Room Down

Here are the pictures of our finished living room! I love how it turned out. I want to frame and hang a wedding picture or 2 when we get them back, but other than that it's pretty much done.

Now on to the rest of the house!

Bbq

Saturday we went to Aubrey & Tyler's house for a bbq. Aubrey & I met our freshman year of high school & have been friends ever since.

I should be used to fact that she has kids now, but I still get a kick out of watching them attempt parenthood ;) Emory is such a nut! Always gives us a good laugh. She was quite entertaining all night. Running around the yard with the dogs...drinking the dog's water when her parents weren't looking...putting her shoes in the dog's water...climbing in and out and in and out of her chair...fake laughing...such a funny girl!

This is Bo, the newest addition to their family, and Jeff's new best friend.

Memorial day

So cute...the Sonnenberg's first holiday together ;) Fun day! We went to the pool with Mike, Caitlin & the boys.

Bridger loves the water! His little bottom lip was shivering but he wasn't going to get out for anything. Jeff put him up on the side and he would dive right back in.

It was the cutest thing. He didn't mind going under the water as long as we clapped for him when he came up.

Later on they all came over to our place to have pizza and help us paint! We painted our living room a sage green and tan. It's a good thing they were here, because apparently Jeff & i really had no clue what we were doing! Thanks guys :)

Bridger kicked back to watch all the action.

I'm really happy with how it turned out! I'll post pictures of the final result when I take some :)
